OUR STORY
A love letter
to my parents.
Still Waters Head Spa & Café was born from something deeply personal to me, my parents.
Read our story
01 / Her care
The heart behind the head spa.
The inspiration for the head spa came largely from my mom. She became a mother at just 16 years old and went on to raise 6 children. I watched how hard she worked and how much of herself she continually gave to everyone around her. Like so many mothers, her own needs often came last.
And as I got older, I realized, if my mom felt this way, how many other people do too?
Mothers. Fathers. Parents. Caregivers. People carrying families, businesses, responsibilities, and lives that rarely seem to slow down.
We live in a time when everyone is constantly doing something. Our minds are always going. We’re answering messages, working, planning, taking care of someone, thinking about what’s next.
I wanted to create a place where, for a little while, you don’t have to think about any of it.
You simply come in and let someone take care of you.
That’s the heart behind the head spa.
02 / His dream
…and then there’s the café

That part carries a different piece of my heart because my dad always dreamed of opening a café.
After losing him, that dream became even more meaningful to my family and I. I began thinking about how beautiful it would be to take something he once envisioned and allow a piece of it to live in something I get the honor to build.
And somehow, the two belonged together.
My mother’s longing for relaxation and being cared for.
My father’s dream of a café.
And the skills and experience God allowed me to cultivate through years in the beauty industry.
Those things came together and became Still Waters Head Spa & Café.
03 / A love letter
Pieces of them.
In many ways, Still Waters is a love letter to my parents.
A love letter to my mom, who spent so much of her life caring for everyone else and whose life taught me how deeply people need a place where they can finally be cared for.
And a love letter to my dad, whose dream of opening a café now lives, in its own way, within these walls.
When I look at Still Waters, I don’t just see a business.
I see pieces of them.
I see my mom in the person who finally gets to close their eyes and exhale after spending so much of caring for everyone else.
I see my dad in the café, in the coffee, the conversations, the gathering, and the dream he carried.
And I see God’s hand in taking things that were planted in different seasons and weaving them together into something I couldn’t fully see at the beginning.
04 / STILL WATERS
That’s why the name Still Waters means so much to me.
“He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.”
Psalm 23:2–3
Still Waters is an invitation to stop.
To be cared for.
To breathe.
To receive.
And, in a very personal way, it is my opportunity to give others some of what I always wished I could give my parents:
A place where they didn’t have to carry anything for a little while.
A place where they could simply rest.
